La Zeppa has a contemporary SoHo loft feel, with high ceilings, exposed brick, dark wood benches and tables and young, smiling waiting staff. Dedicated to providing a no-nonsense space for city workers and visitors to relax, the emphasis here is on serving up quality food in the shape of several small tasting plates, ideal for sharing, and including everything from squid rings and meatballs to zucchini flowers and cheese balls.

The wine list has depth and choice, with many New Zealand labels taking centre stage.

There is live music a few times a week, with DJs playing a surprisingly-eclectic mix of atmospheric sounds perfectly in keeping with the modern ethos of the restaurant.

There are tables to suit all group sizes, from intimate tables for two, to large bench-sofa corners, ideal for those who just want to lounge about for a few hours for some good food and even better conversation.
